Frequently asked questions
Is this tied to one date or one year?
No. Día de los Muertos comes back every November 1 and 2, and the template is written to work each year. There is no year in the scene and no dated prop.
What does the face paint look like?
Simple folk calavera paint: small flowers and tidy swirls around the eyes, in the generic style, plus a crown of marigold blossoms. It is not a specific artist's design or a brand.
Is this respectful of the holiday?
The scene is a quiet home memory table with candles and marigolds, in the folk tradition. It is not a party gag and it does not copy a named artist's work.
